Disney Traditions Elsa and Anna

A while back I saved up a lot of Disney Movie rewards to get Cinderella’s Castle. Unfortunately by the time that I reached 7,000 points the Castle was unavailable.  I’ve continued to rack up points and finally decided to cash in some of my rewards points.  I was actually really pleased at how easy it was to order and how fast these two beautiful pieces came.  I didn’t have to pay any fees, not even a small shipping fee.  It was all covered with Disney Movie Rewards points.

I was most excited for Anna because of her open face and fun pose.  She looks just like she is taken right out of a scene from the movie…probably singing “For the First Time in Forever”

Her dress is beautiful and I love that is shimmers in the light.  This movie was so fun to watch, as my mother’s side comes from Norway, I had an aunt that lived there while I was younger and when she would visit she shared so many stories of Norway and our heritage. My Grandmother gave my sisters and I traditional dresses and sweaters.  It was fun to see those same patterns in the movie and especially on Anna’s cloths.

Elsa is also very detailed.  The piece seems to be a perfect embodiment of Elsa.  I have found that all the princesses in this collection are designed marvelously by Jim Shore.

My favorite part of this figure is Elsa’s hair.  It is so detailed and beautiful!  Lots of people made comments about her huge hair, but I’m betting they haven’t seen a true blooded Norwegian’s thick blond hair done up or in a braid.  My mother and two sisters have that exact hair, and let me tell you, they could easily put there hair in a braid just like that!

Well this post has turned out to be a mix of show the figurines and tell about my family. I hope you enjoyed.  You can see a more detailed video of these two on my youtube channel, I’ll put a link to the video below!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Funko Pop Collection

I received the new Funko Pop for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast live action!  They are magnificent!  I have never really been into Funko Pop figures but recently they have released new Disney Princess collections and exclusives.  I just couldn’t help myself and started collecting the princess themselves.  I wasn’t really planning on diving into their other figures until the Moana set came out!  Wow I was really impressed and thought they were darling.  I’ll upload a post and video with those Pops soon.  When I saw that they were releasing a new set for the live action Beauty and the Beast, I was at first hesitant, but when I saw them I went completely gaga!  I immediately preordered them on Amazon.com!  I’ll show you the main collection #242-#247 that is available at most places Pops are sold. There are a few more that are in-store exclusives but I will show those when I get them in.
